What Backlog does
- A RICE calculator (Reach × Impact × Confidence ÷ Effort) on every item
- MoSCoW buckets with a warning when “must” takes over
- A story map of epics × releases; send items to the running sprint
Ways to use Backlog
- Score reach in the same unit for every item, e.g. users per quarter
- Be honest with confidence: 50% means it's a guess
- Use “Won't” on purpose — it records what you decided not to do

Backlog has no card on Today; open it from the Life tab or the sidebar.

Backlog saves on your device first and, after sign-in, syncs to your other devices encrypted in transit. You can keep Backlog on this device only at any time.

- Open Pladay in your browser or the app — no sign-up needed.
- Go to Modules (top of the sidebar) and search for Backlog.
- Switch Backlog on and make your first entry with one tap.

Is Backlog free?
Yes. Backlog is free to turn on and use, and you can export everything you record. Pladay Pro only adds a bigger AI quota, cloud backup and more custom trackers.
