In Pladay every change is saved on your device first. There is no spinner waiting for a server: you can open the app on a plane, add and complete tasks, and everything syncs when the connection returns.

Local-first, not just “offline mode”
Many apps cache data and switch to a limited offline mode. Pladay works the other way round: the copy on your device is the working copy, and the server is where devices exchange changes. That is why actions feel instant on a slow connection too.
When you sign in on several devices, a conflict-free sync engine merges edits made offline on different devices instead of asking you to choose a version.
What works offline
- Adding, editing, completing and reordering tasks; lists, tags, notes and habits.
- Natural-language parsing of dates and repeats (it runs on the device).
- The focus timer, the focus plan, the calendar and board views, and the life modules.
- On-device AI if you have downloaded a local model.
What needs a connection
- Syncing between devices and signing in.
- Cloud AI (Pladay Cloud or a provider using your own key).
- Sending tasks to Google Calendar, Naver Calendar or Outlook, and integrations such as Slack or Google Drive.
Install it like an app
Pladay is a progressive web app. Open it in a browser and install it: on iPhone and iPad use Safari's Share → Add to Home Screen; on Android, Chrome offers Install; on desktop, Chrome and Edge show an install button in the address bar. There is also a signed Windows installer and a portable version, and an Android app on the download page.
Installed, Pladay opens in its own window, works offline and can receive push notifications.
Keep your data safe
Without an account, your data lives only in that browser on that device; clearing the browser's site data deletes it. Sign in to sync and get encrypted nightly cloud backups, or download a backup file or a ZIP of everything from Settings. See privacy for what is stored where.

Do I need to sign in to use Pladay offline?
No. Pladay works without an account. Signing in adds sync between devices and cloud backups.
What happens if I edit the same task on two devices offline?
Changes are merged field by field when both devices sync, so edits to different fields are kept; for the same field, the latest edit wins.
